Why is Banqeo Exchange displaying the circulating supply and not the Total Supply?2020-04-15T23:18:26+01:00

At Banqeo Exchange we believe that the Circulating Supply is a better metric for determining the market cap (or market capitalisation). Coins that are locked, reserved, or not able to be sold on the public market cannot affect the price and thus should not be allowed to affect the market capitalisation as well.,

Where can I see historical prices?2020-04-15T23:18:15+01:00

In the upper right corner (graph-like icon) of Banqeo Exchange website.,

Select the cryptocurrency for which you want to display the information.,

  • – Market Cap represents the total value of all outstanding units (coins or currency units). To calculate market cap (market capitalisation), multiply the number of outstanding units by the value of each unit (market cap = price X circulating supply)
  • – Volume is the amount of the coin that has been traded in the last 24 hours globally.
  • – Circulating Supply is the best approximation of the number of coins that are circulating in the market and the general public’s hands.
  • – Max Supply is the best approximation of the maximum amount of coins that will ever exist in the lifetime of the cryptocurrency.
